Thomas Carmichael is currently Dean of the Faculty of Information and Media Studies at Western. He is also an Associate Professor in the Department of English, and a Core Faculty Member in Western’s Centre for the Study of Theory and Criticism. He has published widely in American Studies and on American Literature, and on literary, cultural, and critical theory. He has lived in London for more than twenty years.
